My Valverde for Posada and BJ RYAN - WHIR !!

I need a catcher BAD - I've got Salty and he's 1 for 17 or so , Pudge is available but thats about all .....Posada is doing ok so far , and BJ Ryan struggled his 1st couple outings but has his velocity is back ........is it worth giving up Valverde to get Posada and Ryan in return ?????

We do 5x5 plus 2b's , 3b's, and OBP on offense
5x5 plus whip , quality starts , and holds in pitching

I always wait on catchers to rise to the top as the year goes on. Unless you really think Posada is having a good year, I would just wait it out until someone starts killing it. Is Napoli there?

It's not worth the Ryan question marks for Valverde IMO.

I wouldn't do it. Valverde is too valuable...Ryan and Posada are both sketchy. Salty may come through, but there are always lots of "acceptable" catchers on the wire. Even, say, Laird or Yadier Molina. Ramon Hernandez. Someone like that.

I wouldn't do it. Posada and Ryan are unreliable. Stick it out with Salty or pick up pudge.
