Sometimes Yahoo programmers are browsing these forums so I wanted to bring up a flaw in their system that had bugged me since last year. Why is it that players playing in games that PPD not allowed to be removed from the lineup?
For example, today I put Thome and Konerko in the lineup for a 10AM game. Since I actually have a job, I cannot sit at my computer all day checking to see if a game is postponed or not. I go to try to take Konerko and Thome out of my lineup (since it was PPD) and they are already locked in while I have Blalock and Hafner sitting on my bench. So basically I get stuck with 2 DNPs simply because of a flaw in Yahoo's system. Why are guys locked in for the day when they never played a game? Why can I not remove them and replace them with another player who has not played yet?

It's not a bug, it's just the way it is for some reason.
Genie explained it a while back. I forget what it was, but it made sense. Something about how they get their stats from another provider, and problems that could arrise if they didn't do it like this. Search Fantasy Genie's posts and you should find it.
