Drop Big Unit for Jered Weaver?

Postby TheWinPlan » Tue Apr 14, 2009 1:13 pm

Jered Weaver is available.

Simple question:

Would you drop Unit to pick him up?

even though johnson is a still a strike-out machine, i would probably drop him for weaver. better upside and younger player. is weaver the best option available?

I would pick Weaver over RJ. RJ will pick up some Ks and will be good in K/9. But he's stuck on a terrible team and is in his last year or two. I like Weaver in ANA this year.

Good luck.
