"Favorite" coach Ditka? More like "only" coach Ditka. Besides the current crop of coaches/managers, no one here mentions ANY former Chicago coach/manager except Ditka.
Disproportionate number of short shorts-wearers though...

Mike Keenan could have been there too. He was close, but had to run into the Pens with Super Mario. I always liked Iron Mike. Is he considered a legend in Chicago even though he only coached a handful of seasons?
Hi, I'm Troy McClure! You might remember me from such nature films as "Earwigs: Ewwww" and "Man vs. Nature: The Road to Victory."

Chicago's not a hockey town...it goes Cubs-Bears-Bulls-Sox, with the Bulls and Sox switching off depending on who's doing better or what time of year it is. Hockey has a presence but not comparable to the big four teams.

I didn't realize the Cubs were the most popular team. I would have thought it would be Bears, Bulls, Cubs, Sox.
