I'd say Hamilton's first round stock was more or less derived from his RBI total. Granted, he's carried a fairly high career ceiling, his production correlated with having a healthy Kinsler/Bradley in the lineup last year. His FB rate actually wasn't that impressive last year either, but what made him a 30+ HR hitter is the fact he hits half of the year in Arlington. 35-40 HR is possible, but unless his FB rates spike up a bit more, I see him settling into the same homerun figure as last season. Lineup protection is somewhat of a truism and so, I can see Lee and Hamilton having similar R/RBI, HR numbers with a marginal difference (if any) in average.
Anyway, I see the Spring, the WBC, and the first-plus week as a relatively small sample size to see if that finger is still bothering Lee. I'd say it's a bad streak and he hasn't been any stranger to those. He was on the verge of career years in '05-06 but slowed down some and settled for his usual. Likewise, I see Lee doing the same. I'd be more concerned if it's a wrist injury than I would've been with a finger anyway.
