Both are lead-off hitters with similar potential- Who has the overall edge this season fantasy-wise and what would your projections for them be?

I drafted Span and was kind if suspect at the start. I was regretting not getting Crisp. But slowly my opinion has changed. Span is very patient and could hit .300. He's an excellent lead-off hitter and I'd give him the edge.

I'd rather have better guys than either of them at every OF position, but if I have to pick I'll go with Span since he probably has more upside and less injury risk.

Well, if Span runs enough. I guess I'm just not expecting as much from Crisp as other people are. Not sure he can hold up over a full season either.

Sounds about right, although Coco is a career .279 hitter, I think he'll at least do that. Either way I'll take Span any day of the week.

Crisp had 20 SB last year with reduced PT and he's never had an average that low and he's a lock for full-time duty unless he's injured.
