why on gods greeen earth would someone who drafted davis and alexie trade them for soria and beltre? they obviously drafted two hyped/talented players, so they obviously know their stuff (at least a little bit) and after one week, 15-20 AB's you think you're gonna slide in and get them for soria/beltre!?
LOL
Buy low yes, but lets be real, you can offer it up, he'll probably say something similar to (read one inch above).....

Agree with the first poster. You can tell a lot about a player by how they draft, and a team that drafted both of those is clearly a sleeper/breakout hunter. There seem to be a couple strong examples of this in every league. I think its highly unlikely that they will want to part with their gambles early, let alone at a big discount.
Thanks for the help with mine.

If Alexei is who you want, I would offer the trade without Davis. If you need it to be a 2 for 2 ask for someone older and/or not as hyped as crush davis to fill the spot.

i dont think its terrible. people seem to be high on Ramirez after one season. Beltre and Ramirez are similar. Soria is one of the better proven closers. Davis might have alot of potential, but only played 80 games last season with Texas. whats he really proven? theres no guarantee hes going to come in and be a monster this season. i dont think Davis is going to be as good as everyone thinks this season. last season he had .353 BABIP, 25.5 LD% ..which wont be easy to duplicate, and he had 25.9 K% and 6.3 BB%.
compared to where hes being drafted hes overrated.
i dont think the offer is bad.
help?

Thanks for the help with mine. Unfortunately I doubt you are going to get Ramirez/Davis with what you're offering. Beltre will simply never been a big trading chip...He's eternally unappreciated. Soria is money and may be enough to get Davis or Ramirez with a throw in but expecting more than that in return is crazy at this point in the season.
