Just one thing Ray. Inge was slotted as Detroit's everyday third baseman as soon as Gerald Laird was acquired, and way before Sheff was released. Guillen was slotted in left field. The Sheffield release probably had very minimal impact on Inge's playing time.

Ah, OK, forgot about that. It always struck to me that Guillen would be better off DH'ing given his injury history.
