Hamilton and Ramirez for Holliday and Beltran?

Postby mike2077 » Sun Apr 12, 2009 9:26 pm

I get: Matt Holliday and Carlos Beltran

for Josh Hamilton and Aramis Ramirez

My Team:
C - Inge and Soto
1b- Huff
2b- Kinsler
3b-Aramis
SS-Drew
CF-Hamilton
RF-Dye
LF-Manny
Util-Votto
Util-Pence
Bn- Young, Soto

I could use the 40ish steals from beltran and holliday and i think its a pretty nice deal for me. I can slide huff to third and votto to first. What do you guys think.

Either this is a 10 team league, or your pitching is abismal! haha.
I like the trade too. Hollidy, Beltran, Manny and Dye is pretty sick!

yes i have some insight on why this isnt right.Holliday didnt go til last pick of 2nd round in my 10 team roto league. He was top 5 1st round last year.he had great numbers last year but not like he did 2 years ago although he missed 20 more games. Here is the reason this guy wants to trade him in a camoflauged deal.Holliday plays in a pitchers park on a horrible team with no protection.no offence but dye had a couple good years but he isnt "sick".I am also not so sure about huff being counted on all year.he had 5 bad seasons before last years good season.I would trade dye an huff for beltran myself.i love votto though. My self i wouldnt trade for holliday unless i got a steal an then i am not sure i would want him.His days of 35 hr 25 sb an batting .320 are over in oakland.at least right now u have a abckup at utility tahts great.U make this trade an trade a top5 3b an it leave u outfield heavy with no infield backup an a outfielder in holliday u will regret.Maybe try hamilton an dye or someone for beltran an a great player.but my opinion i shy away from matt holliday

I wouldnt take this trade because your infield would be a lot weaker after losing ARam

You're giving up too much I think....the other guy would win this deal. I'd pass, or atleast try to get him to sweeten the pot.
