This guy is playing in Colorado, and was touted by more than a few experts as being primed for a breakout season. I don't follow Colorado - he's owned on over 92% of the teams in my league. anyone know why he is available, other than a slow start?

Right now, I've got Inge as my main catcher. I'm looking to trade Inge for pitching, and move Iannetta into that spot. Even if I can't find someone to take Inge, I'm still thinking Iannetta is the better long-term option, given his home park and position as number 1 catcher. What do you think?

Sorry but I disagree, Inge has been playing incredibly well, and is playing 3B while keeping his catcher eligibility. Iannetta is probably available in your league because he's started the season 1 for 14. If you can grab Iannetta and stash him, I'd go for it, but I think you'd be crazy to drop Inge to start Iannetta.
Inge is playing everday, and hitting well. He's reworked his stance and hitting north of .300 so far this season.
7 Runs, 4HR, 7 RBIs, 2 SB, batting .286 in your catcher spot???
Oh sorry, those are Soriano's numbers on the season
With the information given (just that he has Inge as his catcher) I say make the move.
Of course there may be other players more expendable, which is why I said "depends who you currently have and would drop".
I'll have to bookmark this thread so we can check it in a couple months..or better yet at the end of the year when Inge's numbers still trump Soriano's.

Haha no doubt! I'm sure he will finish far behind Soriano, but you win leagues by riding hot players. To drop someone hot in order to start someone cold doesn't make much sense (sure there are exceptions like injuries). Plus anytime you get ahold of someone who is catcher eligible, but is playing everyday at a different position, that's a huge win.
