Dawg,
You'd take Prior with 7th over all pick? Please! He's a 2nd rounder. Also "the best picher out there". What about Pedro? You rather have Mark then Pedro? Bad move Dawg.

I'd go with Bonds in that spot. He'll have similar run/RBI production to Manny, but (probably) with a higher average and more HR. If Bonds really scares you because of his age, go with Manny. To me, that's too early for Nomar (many more good SS these days than there were a few years ago), and too early for any pitcher. Back when you could count on Randy for 350 SO and 20 wins, he was worth a 1st rounder. Prior and his 18 wins / 250 SO is not IMO.

I'd go with Prior, but hopefully one of the top 6 will be there for you.

Thanks guys, I think I will plug Maggy in at 7. I will be shocked if
Prior or Gagne are not taken by someone ahead of me. This league
is an auto-draft and all owners are Titans fans, and are a lot more
into FB than BB. I prefer FB, but FBB kicks ass compared to FFB.
It's still a tough league tho.

What about Pedro? The guy hasn't pitched 200 innings in 4 years. And he's a whimp about his arm. And I belive most people would rather have Mark than Pedro. Pedro is on this down side of his career and can barely pitch 7 innings anymore. Mark will get better every time out there. I'd take Prior over Pedro in a second. And Pedro beats up on old men. Not my cup of tea.

Prior missed a couple games (4 I think) because of the Marcus Giles hit. No doubt in my mind if he pitched in those games he would have been at 20-21 and 280-290. First round material when most pitchers don't even record 200 Ks anymore.
Barry Bonds for US president.

At 7th, I'd take Prior anyday and twice on Sundays.

I understand your pain man.

If I get stuck at the latter end of the draft, I've been drafting Nomar first, and Boone with my second pick, so that I've got the main two problems in my lineup solved.
