Purcey has 6 K's through 3 IP. He also has 5 walks, 3 H, and 2 ER to go along with 78 pitches. He is struggling with his release point, especially on his breaking ball. If he can figure out his release point the Walks should come down...

Purcey with 8K's through 4 innings now. Seems to have found his release point in the past couple of innings and is settling in. Too bad his pitch count is 90 now and he will likely only get 5 innings in.

Geez, DeRosa looked absolutely terrible on those two K's.

he threw quite a few in the dirt at the start of the game, but he is throwing a good few first pitch strikes now. He is starting to get wild again though, his pitch count is 109 now.

Purcey is done. 4 2/3 innings: 113 pitches, 4 H, 2 ER, 6 walks, 10 K's. The walks really killed him today. He is can figure out his release point and keep that consistent he should have some nice outings and go a bit deeper into games.

Choo lost a ball hit by Rios in the sun allowing for an RBI triple by Rios. Wells makes them pay with a 2 run HR with the next AB and the Jays are back in the game.

And that right there, is evidence as to why Pronk is not done. 3 bombs in 3 straight games.
...crosses fingers
