Postby mtboger » Sat Apr 11, 2009 11:41 pm

12 team, 2nd year keeper league, h2h 5 category
C Doumit
1b Guillen
2nd Cano
3rd Wright
SS HRamirez
2/ss Tejada
1/3rd Reynolds
Of Braun, Markakis, Granderson, Ankiel, Dye
UT Schafer
Bn Headley, Escobar, Getz

Sp Sabathia, Shields, Harden, Kazmir, RJohnson, Jurrjens, Greinke
Rp Dotel, Shields, Howell

Other than my complete lack of saves, where else could I improve. I have a pending trade offer that I think could help too, I send Tejada and Johnson, get DLee and Jimenez. Thanks for your input.

other than the saves, i'm not seeing much of a hole here... in fact theres nothing else i don't like about your team. if you can ship tejada, you're getting rid of your least valuable player and getting a very nice return. lee would replace guillen, who i think is nearing the end of his fantasy value. strong hitting, fast running, very deep and strong rotation... fix those holds and you will easily be the best team in the league for a while. ;-D

I think you have a pretty good team overall, however I would try and upgrade Guillen at first, you want more of a power hitter at that position, and you need to bolster your closers. I really like your starting pitching, you might want to trade one for a closer or package one with a hitter and get back a solid first baseman. Good luck!
