I have to say I'm REALLY surprised that the Cafe has talked so little about Fowler.

I finally bit the bullet and picked him up one minute ago. Hard to believe no one in my league wanted him earlier, but OF is the deepest position in our league (we play 2 at each position plus 5 OF), and there are some decent options so it is somewhat understandable I guess. Its a points league and we have basically no bench, so I'll go one SP short for a while, and see if he proves himself to me enough to let go of one of my studly OFers. It is a keeper league, but he won't necessarily be a bargain to keep next year the way our structure works. If he ends up hitting 15HR with 35SB, he'll certainly be worth it.

PIcked him up three days ago and am glad I did. I didn't start him tonight, but oh well. With McLouth ailing and having just traded away Ludwick, he may see my lineup very soon.

I think he has just singlehandedly won a lot of H2H'ers the SB's category in the first 4 innings of the week.

Poor Young is terrible at holding runners. He might as well just continuously pitch from the windup...wouldn't make much difference to the runners. :-B
