Although I'm a little biased (Mets fan), I'd go with Matsui. He is the best SS on the board. If he is taken, go with the sleeper Cintron or go with Rollins, who is still looking to reurn to rookie form.

matsui is the best potential reward on the board, after that cintron or rollins. i would stay away from the others.

Cintron

I would go with Cintron. Most upside. And hitting 5th.
Originally expected to be broken slowly into a utility role, Cintron exploded on the scene last season, hitting for average and power and quickly staking claim to the starting shortstop job. He's not a particularly patient batter, but makes consistent contact and knows how to look for his pitch. Cintron remains constantly dedicated to improvement; his .357 average and 19 multi-hit games in his final 41 contests after discovering a flaw in his stance is testament to that. He'll serve as Arizona's starting shortstop again and be one of the more underrated Fantasy starters available, but expect a slight step backward as pitchers should be ready for him this year. (Updated 1/16/04)

Bob Brenly told the Arizona Republic Alex Cintron will open the season as the team's No. 5 hitter, behind Richie Sexson. "I like Alex at the No. 5 spot because he's a left-handed hitter who can break up the lineup. He's shown the ability to pick up big runs, and he's got a good eye for the strike zone," Brenly said.
