Brian Anderson is still on the team.

You know what would be nice? Call Beckham up, and have him play short. Move Alexei to center.

I haven't understood how DeWayne wise was on a MLB roster much less a starter. that's not a loss at all.

I think they'll roll with Anderson for a month or two and then look at the Beckham/Alexei alignment.

I prefer Alexei moved up to the top of the order than center. :-b

As for Pierre, he'll still warrant PT because the Dodgers need to showcase him around. I don't see Torre being so banal as to giving Pierre no more than a day or two in the lineup.

With regards to Kemp, as I said before, I don't see his batting 7th lasting in the long run. That said, it's a bit tougher now with Orlando Hudson looking quite healthy and that has translated at the plate so far. I really wish they would move Martin and Kemp would switch places though.

Scratch the White Sox from the Juan Pierre sweepstakes. They just called up Jerry Owens and signed Scott Podsednik to a minor league deal.

Don't Stop Believin'! :-D
