overall a very well-built team IMHO. you seem thin toward the back end of your outfield (fowler and snider) and rotation (lohse and smoltz). they're not bad, but they might give you some headaches. otherwise, nice mix ;-D

I see a few holes that need fixing:

1. Young has been in a statistical decline for the last few seasons. He cannot be counted upon to provide the high batting average he did in the past. I might trade Young for a pitcher and plug in Andrus, who has elite speed.

2. If Seth Smith or Ryan Spilborghs are available, then I'd drop Fowler for one of them.

3. You need another closer, since Ziegler's job isn't terribly secure.

4. You also need another solid SP. Lohse and Smoltz are both risk plays. On my teams, I only like having one such pitcher.

Good team overall. Should be competitive.

You need pitching help. Only have Jenks as your real closer and only your first 3 SP's are good. Look to see who is on the WW. Do you have any bench in this league?

I like your team, the outfield is a little shaky with a lot of question marks most notably Snider, Choo, and Fowler. Your closers are decent but can be improved. I have never been a big Lincecum guy, I know he was awesome last year, but I just wasn't drinking the "Kool-Aid," on him. One thing I never go for is a player who has had 1 amazing season, this is the "buy high," situation that I avoid. Now i'm not saying Licecum won't turn it around this after his first 2 poor starts, but if this were my team I would look to get a guy like Roy Halladay. He is a solid pitcher with years of quality production, plus i have a feeling he will get traded to a contender before the deadline, this would cause his value to skyrocket!

Help with mine?
