QUENTIN, Carlos..... healthy?

Postby tribefan08 » Sat Apr 11, 2009 8:11 am

healthy or?

he had the hand injury last year correct?

I've got quentin/Haren offered to me for Markakis/CRUZ....

i kinda wanna sell high on cruz, but its a H2H league so when Haren does his normal slump somewhat down the stretch thats not gonna help, and i'm a little iffy on Quentin right now.... Is he a 40 HR beast? Or a one year wonder? OR?

Plus i love markakis, and i love my offense (its in the sig) so giving up two pieces of offense for one piece back and a pitcher is tough for me.... sway me and if anyone has any "hand" info on quentin let me know,

Watched the sox/kc game on wednesday and hte hawk had his doubts that CQ woudl be full strength for some time given the type of injury he had.

Nothing official, just his insights.

he hit a homer yesterday and his other hits were deep fly balls to the of.

He will only get better as the year goes on and those deep fly balls will get out.

If he hits like this (3 for 5 with 2 HRs today) when he's in recovery, I can't wait to see what he can do when he's healthy... ;-D

Seriously, though, all of my friends (who apparently work for the Diamondbacks' scouting team) thought that he was going to regress this year...looks to me like he's picked up right where he left off before his fluke injury. I could see him contending with Longoria, Josh Hamilton and Miguel Cabrera for the AL Home Run lead with a .900+ OPS...
