I love the extra innings free preview. Can't decide whether I'd rather have extra innings or mlb.tv if I were gonna buy a full year, though.

I bought MLB.TV for the first time this year since I can't watch the Sox in Maryland, and I'm very happy with it. I'm having an issue with being blacked out when trying to watch the Sox over WiFi, but it works fine with an ethernet cable. Aside from that problem, everything is great. I get HD quality for most of the game and I have a cable on the way to hook it up to my TV. ;-D

I believe I read somewhere on the internet that they were moving from Microsoft's Silverlight to flash for the online stuff, to help with compatibility and stability issues.

I opted to use a slingbox a few years ago instead of MLB TV.

For an overseas baseball fan, the MLBtv package is fantastic, especially as our one domestic channel which used to broadcast live games twice a week has ceased to do so this year.

Yeah one of my friends has one which we've used for Bruins games, but he lives across campus so I can't mooch off of him all that much. In September a different friend of mine had the standard version of MLB.TV which was about the same quality as the Slingbox my friend has, but the HD quality of MLB.TV this year really blows it away.
