Need advice on trades.

On espn there is a 1b and a 1b/3b spot, that spot has casey in it and i need to get rid of him. Thanks.

Two others I would look to buy on are Chris Davis and Pena. Try Uggla and maybe another MI for one of them.

First, your question (contingent upon my interpretation of your question being correct):

I would try to package one of your OF (likely Upton or Victorino, maybe Quentin) with one of your backup SS or Uggla for a strong power hitting CI. As an above poster suggested, AGonz is a good choice, and you may be able to swing a Victorino/Uggla or Hardy deal for Votto. Those two will be studs this year. The leftover SS and/or Uggla will be a more thatn adequate 2B/SS, I don't see why you need 5 guys for 2 positions. Your analysis of your situation is correct in my books.

Second, you may get a little more response if you gave us the starting positions used by your league. I know when I read this, and by the looks of the other posts others did as well, I didn't know that there were 1B/3B and 2B/SS spots. Perhaps a few of the earlier posts were unaware of this and their advice came from this.

Do your really think it's worth giving up quentin/uggla just for 1 guy?
