I guess it's easy to be "relatively pleased" and maybe I'm expecting too much considering it is his first major league start since August, but he has always been prone to giving up the HR which comes from leaving the ball up in the zone, which was the direct cause of both the HRs he has allowed tonight.

I think you are expecting too much. He's always been prone to the long ball, so I see no reason why that still wouldn't be the case. He seems to have his velocity back, seems to have decent confidence and plus command tonight. So far so good.

Yeah Maine's been dealing. Lets see if he can get a QS out of it.

Maine settled down really nicely. I am very happy with how he pitched. I was a little quick to criticize after he threw those two meatballs, but I am very pleased with how he settled in and cruised. 5 K/1 BB is encouraging ;-D

I'm just frustrated because the Mets STILL can't hit with runners in scoring position. :-C

Sean Green seems like he will be a workhorse this year judging how much he has pitched already...Hopefully he will pitch better than he has tonight...

This is scary, Parnell was looking good then after a bunt and a cheap blooper, the Marlins are threatening with Han-Ram up :-o

Even with the new bullpen, they still give up runs like crazy...
