Let's go Maine, it'd be very encouraging if Maine could start the season strong ;-D

Maine struggling to keep the ball down, same issues he's always had, not encouraging :-o

yeah... he may settle down and turn this into a good start, but so far I'm happy with my decision to leave him on my bench.

I'm actually relatively pleased with the way Maine looks. Velocity is there, he has made some mistakes, but overall I pleased with his performance through the first 3 innings. Of course, my last comparison is Ollie, so take this for what it is worth... :-b

I guess it's easy to be "relatively pleased" and maybe I'm expecting too much considering it is his first major league start since August, but he has always been prone to giving up the HR which comes from leaving the ball up in the zone, which was the direct cause of both the HRs he has allowed tonight.

Yesterday, I picked Church off the WW to use next week (I will need him due to COL only having 5 games). Mets face 6 RHP starters and they're not the top of the rotation either.

In other news, my opponent this week has Cantu, Uggla, and Hermida. ARRRRGGGHHHHH. They've just had batting practice all frigging week! HR after HR. The pain.
