This team has a power offense, in a sense that I am on the top of my league in homers, doubles, rbis. But I suck in average, stolen bases, singles.
Now, my pitching. I only drafted one closer, and all of the closers are taken off the waiver wire. I am keeping Wheeler under the assumption Percival will eventually lose his job. I have a plethora of solid pitching, but I am going to be dead last in saves. However, it begs the question, just how important are relief pitchers. I mean, if I start those guys, I will run away with my league in IP, Ks, and presumably wins......but I still need saves ( i dont need to win the category, but i dont want to be deadlast either)
I have my eyes set on chone figgins and a closer. Which pitchers and hitters are expendable for figgins and a closer? And what do you think of my pitching strategy? Thanks. This is my first baseball fantasy year btw.
