Giants A-ball squad

Postby GiantsFan14 » Thu Apr 09, 2009 10:18 pm

Comcast is showing a bunch of the San Jose Giants games this year (Giants single A affiliate), which is pretty awesome. it's even more awesome when you look at the roster this year, pretty exciting for a Giants fan. The first game is starting right now and i'm quite excited.

Darren Ford CF
Brandon Crawford SS
Nick Noonan 2B
Buster Posey, B C
Conor Gillaspie 3B
Roger Kieschnick RF
Angel Villalona 1B
Michael Ambort DH
Thomas Neal LF

Tim Alderson P

with Madison Bumgarner pitching tomorrow. Hopefully looking at a large piece of the Giants roster in a few years. ;-D

Hm, I find it weird Alderson is repeating High A. I'm guessing he won't be there that long as long as he dominates the first month or so like he should.

basically the giants AA squad is in connecticut and they are worried about him starting the season there due to cold weather. once it warms up he'll be moved there, it has nothing to do with the giants wanting him to repeat high A.

It's always good to have something to look forward to in 2011 ;-)

That is a stacked lineup though ;-D
