C Jarrod Saltalamacchia
1st Joey Votto
2nd Chase Utley
SS Jimmy Rollins
3rd Mark DeRosa
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Adam Dunn
OF Matt Holliday
Util Emilio Bonifacio
BN Johnny Damon
BN Jay Bruce
BN Felipe Lopez

SP Johan Santana
SP Rich Harden
RP Jason Motte
RP George Sherrill
P Edinson Volquez
P Kevin Gregg
P Matt Lindstrom
BN Joba Chamberlain
BN Frank Francisco

I think my hitting is overall pretty solid and my starting pitching as well. I think my only weak points will maybe be my catcher and saves. I want to trade Damon or Bruce for some RP, but I'm not sure what I could do, considering they aren't top tier players. Any other suggestions for what I'm missing are greatly appreciated.

one more closer, one more starter especially insurance for Harden and an upgrade at 3B would be ideal. I don't think salty is a poor option at catcher though he may be traded (maybe Boston?) down the road.

Salty is upgradable, but since C is so scarce, he is roster-worthy. Could definitely improve upon Votto, since 1B is so deep. SS and 2B are great, might want a stronger 3B. Your OF is questionable (Dunn on Nationals, Holliday in Oakland, Abreu on Angels). I'd try and give Damon every-day AB's with that lineup. SP's are solid, RP's are shaky.

Salty always has shown flashes but unless you are dropping him for another C I'd hold him. Just keep an eye out if he slumps for Teagarden to steal some Ab's. Get Francisco in there!!!! I'd bench Sherrill in favor of him. Outside of Frankie make sure you become familiar with Chris Perez, Ryan Franklin, Carlos Marmol, Leo Nunez, Chris Ray, and Jim Johnson as they are all potential candidates for those relief pitchers. With that said, saves are saves and you have 5 closers. Bonifacio has wheels but he can't hit a lick. I'd consider dropping him for a starter since you can't rely on Harden's health and Joba's status (He might go back to the 8th if that pen doesn't work out without him.) Play damon in the utility spot until Bruce catches fire.

Help?
