We're a sabermetrically-based points league, which means SBs aren't massively overinflated like they are in cat leagues.

And in this sabermetrically-based points league, Carl Crawford is the #3 OF overall. :-D

Amazing what happens when the guy actually plays.

Anyway, it's not that we don't value SBs, we just don't overvalue them. Well, technically, we do. Our CS should be a bigger negative, but there was uproar about that when the league formed, and it's stayed at its current levels since - much to my chagrin.

I'm not a rays fan but i've been watching hellickson this year because he is an intrgueing option in my dynasty league. HIs biggest attribute that has fantasy owners excited about him is his outstanding k/bb ratio. Last year he posted a 162/20 k/bb which is unbeleviable. This year that number is straightening out a bit but is still very impressive (62/14). However, i do not see hellickson getting the call this year unless there is multiple injuries to the starting rotation or the rays fall far out of the playoff race. Right now i would assume wade davis is ahead of jeremy and sonnanstine might even get recalled before they bring up hellickson. Look out for him coming out of ST next year or as a may/june callup.
