I was going to make this same thread.

While Hanson was dealing I'm not sure they want him throwing 85 pitches in 4.1 IP

Good mention on Drabek, I have the same thoughts on him as well. Here is a few others I've noticed that have had a nice start....

L. Morrison: 2-4 w/ hr & triple - 1bb/1k
P. Alvarez: 3-4 w/ hr & double (triple shy of the cycle)
Y. Alonso: 1-3 w/ hr - 2bb/1k
K. De La Cruz: 6ip 2h 2er 2bb 10k

Some that haven't had the best of starts...

M. Stanton: 0-4 w/ 2k
M. Dominguez 1-4 w/ 3k
M. Moore: 3ip 2h 2er 5bb 4k (Rays sp who could break out but having control issues similiar to the start of last year)

Yup, good stuff but lacks the polish and consistancy. Walks will be the focus for me with him....3 in 5IP isn't what I want to see but he's definately on my watch list as well.

Nice to see some of the big hitters starting off with a bang. And the same with De La Cruz as with Drabek....walks walks walks. First start looks good! KC has a De La Cruz I will be watching as well....Deybi De La Cruz. I see Hosmer and Moustakas both went 0fer their first game. I can't wait to see how alot of these guys progress.
