This truely hits home after my Cards losing 2 great pitchers in the past 5 or so years. The only difference is that this kid was only 22 years old. What a shame. RIP

on a side note, really hasn't been a great past 24 hours for real baseball and now come to find out fantasy baseball either... my CBS league the owner just sent out an email as to why he has been a bit inactive the past couple days, one of our league managers was also killed by a drunk driver on Monday night right here in NC in Chapel Hill after the UNC Championship... he was only 22 also a month and 3 days younger then Adenhart... it is just terrible, next time you go out to drink THINK! cabs may cost you some $$ to get home, but its much better then costing a person's life and the pain for the family, friends and in Adenhart's case fans... its really not worth it, i know there are a million stories just kinda hit home as we run our live draft's in person every year and he was sitting 2 people from me not but 2 weeks ago...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

Condolences to the Adenhart's and the other families affected by this tragedy. Just awful.

Just heard this from one of the guys from my league, he is currently attending Cal State Fullerton and he said that the driver of the Silver Eclipse (Nick riding shotgun) was actually a minor league player (he didn't name him or at what stage) and the the kid that is currently in critical condition had just graduated this past semester and was ball player from Cal State Fullerton's baseball team... so although no affiliation with the Angels (possibly the minor league player but not sure) they were both still 2 other ball players with potentially bright futures in the bigs and for sure bright futures as person's outside of baseball... just keeps driving deeper and deeper...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...
