he's good at being bad.

Ollie will get there one day. He still has a long way to go.

in all reality, there were quite a few at bats, in which the Rangers hit the first pitch: Kinsler, J. Hamilton (RBI sac), A. Jones and Byrd (HR) all put the first pitch into the field in the 1st inning I believe.

even andruw jones is hitting 1.000.

now the bases are loaded for cruz!
edit: sac fly, it works.. another rbi,

so 1 inning 9 runs for pavano.

Am I the only one surprised to see Jones batting cleanup and Cruz bumped to the 5-spot?

Texas is so sick this year. I really think they're going to win the West this year.

i'm more surprised he has 2 hits with rbi and run. :-D i thought he'd be there when texas is facing a lefty but i guess you can throw anyone in there vs pavano and be successful. jones is probably gonna get the sammy sosa treatment though, face leftys in a pretty decent spot in the lineup.

McCarthy better not get pulled before pitching 5 innings, he needs to get this automatic win.

Jones is only really playing because washington said he would try to get everyone in there for the opening series.
He will bat cleanup when hes in (stupidly, but its whats going to happen for now) but that will almost exclusively be against lefties.

Theres mccarthy's 5. It was really really windy today and the indians arn't a bad offense.. obviously it wasn't a great start but it wasnt a disaster.

Now come on offense, lets put up a few more runs.. i had my eye on 20 but ill settle for 12 now.
