The only Jared Jeffries I can find is a college kind with Florida A&M

Jared Jeffries - never heard of him

Fernando Martinez - lots of potential but has yet to show the in-game power that scouts say he's capable of, youngest player in AA last season, in a perfect world he'd be a #3 hitter who hits over .300 with 30 hr power, good guy to target in fantasy leagues because most will look at and be unimpressed by his numbers while in reality they're good considering his age vs level, he performed very well in Dominican Winter League, this season is big for his development and if he improves power and plate discipline he could easily be a top 10 prospect going into 2010, still has a lot to prove at this point so he is by no means likely to become a fantasy stud

Jeremy Jeffress - very high ceiling/very low floor pitcher, mid-90s fb with an inconsistent-but-potentially-plus curve, control is an issue, has ace potential but a low probability of ever realizing it, unless he improves his secondary offerings he's the type of guy who could end up in the bullpen, honestly he's not someone I'd target b/c there's lots of question marks but if you want to take a chance his plus-plus fb certainly makes him interesting

Those prospects are very different. The only thing I will add to what was said earlier is that MArtinez falls into the top 50 for most people, while Jeffress falls around 75.
