i wouldn't necessarily this is the reason Helton sat... remember he just had back surgery hes gonna get more days off then he usually did just to make sure that back doesn't get tweaked... now stewart on the other hand, check all of the other threads on him many, many thoughts about him starting or playing...

He should be, but I don't think it will happen for a while. Barmes is a decent utility player, but there can't be anyone who thinks he's better than Stewart.

Correct me if im wrong but Stewart actually rakes against lefties. Either way, not starting Stewart is a boneheaded move. If you arent going to play Stewart than why do you have him on the big club? Stewart is clearly ready to play, and you gotta find a spot to put his bat because lets be honest its way better than Barmes.

Yeah, I think he has hit over .300 against them in his career. He's used to facing them, as his dad is a lefty and he always faced him when growing up.

There's always that stigma that left handed hitters can't hit left handed pitchers. Hawpe was the victim of it for a while (and granted, he struggled against them). Once Hurdle gave him an opportunity to start against them, he was much better and now doesn't sit against them most of the time. Stewart deserves that chance.
