I'd like to say I'll do what I can to help in return, but frankly I'm somewhat of a beginner, so I don't know if you'd want my advice.

Specifically looking for answers to these questions:

What should I do with my catcher's spot? Napoli hasn't played a game yet (i know, only two so far) and Inge is on the wire.

Billy Butler and Edgar Renteria. I've got two solid folks in those spots, should i comb the wire for some more production, or should I hang onto them in case they show me something.

Napoli is injured so I would start Snyder in his place, stay away from inge his 15hrs are inticing but his .230 ba will kill you Butler will hit .280 20 hrs and is good to have on the bench especially if Ortiz starts slumping, Milwaukee staff is only OK, and Philedalphia's is good so they even each other out so you need to do well on Offense

Trade Ortiz and Matsui for some better bats, both are declining and have great name reconigtion trade them while you can

i'm higher on inge than most -- and he's usually at his best when he gets long spans of playing time, which he'll be getting this year. also, he gives you another option at 3b in case beltre slumps. and unless i'm wrong i dont think his average will hurt you in a points league.

as for butler and renteria, it all depends on who is on the waivers. they're not exactly a great strength off the bench. Like PF said, if you could play off Ortiz and Matsui's name recognition/home towns, you might be able to find an upgrade somewhere, maybe in the OF (you're a tad light on steals, IMHO). their salad days are behind them.

and hey, feel free to give your two cents whenever you like we're all just making semi-educated guesses here, anyway. i think the best strength of this cafe is the variety of opinions you can find... really helps you analyze things from multiple angles.
