Good Value? WHIR!!!

Postby pre1322 » Wed Apr 08, 2009 1:04 pm

I am playing in my first Dynasty league this year, and while it is quite the experience, I am having a difficult time valuing my players in this format. It is a 14-team H2H dynasty with 6x6 scoring (OPS and HLDs added).

What sort of value should I look for for a package of Magglio Ordonez/Chad Qualls? I'm looking to decrease the numbe of late-30's guys in my OF (and lineup) which also includes Carlos Lee, Raul Ibanez, Lance Berkman and Victor Martinez, as well as maybe find a guy who provides for 5-cat potential. I was thinking of maybe a guy like Matt Holliday or Alfonso Soriano. Legit in a dynasty? Any other ideas on who to target?

Thanks everyone, leave a link and I will help out.

If you're going to trade Maggs/Qualls, get a stud in return. Go for somebody a little younger like Markakis, McLouth, Rios, or Eithier. Make them throw in another SP as well.
I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

Or Corey Hart. I agree with the guys on the other list as well.

I would go after McLouth or Hart. Ethier might be the easiest to get though.

Help?

i'd go holiday before soriano (he's getting up there too...33 or so). markakis, or hart are nice. how about Hamilton. i think the guys i'd target would be Holiday or Hamilton. then if you can't land them look at guys like hart, markakis, rios, mcclouth.
