Bench question

Bench question

Postby steamer33 » Wed Apr 08, 2009 12:01 pm

What positions are better to fill the bench at the beginning of the season - pitchers or batters? I realize injuries will have a lot to do with it as the season goes, but right now is it better to pick up some SP with upside or RP who might close, or position players?

I usually fill it out with sleeper SP because I have a tendency to draft offense heavy. In Roto I use my bench mostly for SP throughout the season. In H2H I am more balanced.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
