Few notes and comments.....

Lester still has the 94-96 mph 4 seamer which is nice to see.

Kazmir is a completely different pitcher now than he was 2+ years ago....he's pretty much a 90-91mph fastball guy and a 79-80mph change.....he rarely throws his slider these days and its not what it was a couple years ago even when he does.

Lester > Kazmir in '09 and Kazmir won't finish the year at or better than 9K/9

I will say that Kazmir is a perfect example of why every pitcher should have a good change.....if you're change is good enough all you need is a solid fastball and the good change and you'll be a 15 year MLB pitcher.
