Volquez should have gotten through 5 innings without needing 100 pitches. Wright hit a double play ball and Alex Gonzalez booted it and now it's getting out of hand.

He's out now.

pelfrey 104 pitches, and not a strong 104 pitches, whens the yank coming to use that high priced revamped bullpen?

He threw like 66-70 of them in first two innings though, he was good enough to get through 5.

Despite the horrible 1st, Pelfrey pitched well from then on out. Still a stinker overall.
