Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
It's only the first day, but........................
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
dunn is going to be my horse this year... i can feel it... there's no way his average is going to stay that low with his plate patience... his problem is that he swings for the fences all the time... if the coaches can get him in the frame of mind to aim to get on base and then gradually pick his spots to slam the ball.. it'll pay off dividends...

Nope !!! ..
oops forgot to bookmark this thread ...... There .. Fixed .
Oh if a season where only played on the first day. The Yankees would be on the outside looking in as well as the Red Sox. The Tigers would be playing the Pirates (or even better the Brewers) for the world series. Toby hall would lead the majors in BA. Jason Johnson would win the Cy Young. Ah, everything would be right with the world.
Hitters that strike out too much are inherently inconsistent. I'm not a Dunn fan and am not and will not get on the badwagon unless I see consistent play from him.
