Well, in HTH with 7 or more pitching categories I agree with you. You can punt them and get away with it, since they now count that much less than regular.
In fact, not drafting bad closers (Graves, Kolb, etc) and guys who only get stolen bases (Roberts, Sanchez, etc) is actually a pretty good strategy in 10x10 leagues, since they usually will get picked way before they should. Those one-cat guys in a 10-cat offensive league are negative dollar earners.
