Well Lyon is his second half self tonight...drop him?

14 team H2H Points league (no categories). 8pts for holds, 10pts for saves, etc.

I know, I know...its early but...!!!! Its Lyon and with this performance to start it looks like Rodney will have a little more leeway I would think, plus I just saw Zumaya may come back earlier than thought. Anway, should I drop him for Santiago Casilla maybe? He looks to be the setup man in OAK (and its reported he may get some saves against lefties since Zeigler sucked against them...they hit something like .330 if I remember). In fact, maybe he is the new Devine?? Just not as good?? Keep in mind I will need to drop someone in late April anyway since Escobar will return hopefully...just was hoping it would be Lewis or McDonald I guess...plus I think I would rather have one of these setup men below than Lyon at this point right?? Thanks and WHIR

Its a 14-team deep league so this is whats left!!!

How bout Downs? More upside than Lyons at this point. Ryan got the win tonight, but didn't look great doing it. I see Cito using Downs in some save opportunities.

Would you say Casilla if you had Catfish Hunter as your screen name :-D (or are you The Rance Mulliniks?)? Anyway, Downs would be the other good option though...both him and Casilla look to maybe get saves. Thing is didnt Cito give a vote of confidence to Ryan just a few days ago? That would say Casilla has a better immediate chance right? Thanks

I thought I heard the same thing about Downs, that Gaston might give him some save chances since Ryan hasn't pitched great and is supposedly on a short leash. I would go with Downs if you're going to drop Lyon. I would've never picked up Lyon to begin with, he scares me when he comes in late in the game for a save. Not quite as scary as Joe Borowski used to be for Cleveland but still scary enough. :-o

Yep, I probably would have! :-)

I don't love Casilla's history. He has some good stuff, but just check out his stats these last couple of years!

With Ryan already looking shaky, no reason not to try Downs. Cito did give BJ a vote of confidence, but that was necessary - he didn't look great through ST, has a huge contract, and can really only serve as a CL.

Whoever you grab, obviously keep a close eye on the Closer situation around the league.

Yeah, didnt realize Ryan already blew a save tonight. Downs is definitely the better pitcher of the two so I think I am leaning his way now. Thanks!
