Drop Dukes? (WHIR)

Postby KoopaTroopa211 » Tue Apr 07, 2009 6:56 pm

Dukes isn't starting, and he's eating up my last Util spot since I'm over my DL quota and I'm stashing Wieters on the bench. Should I go with any of these FA options? Position eligibility is not an issue; I just want someone who actually starts games.

While I am going to personally keep Dukes as it is a matter of time before someone gets hurt. However, if you want a starter, look at Cruz or Blalock.

With a loaded wire like that and an 8 team league, I'd pick up the Caribbean Cruz for him. Snider is the next best option if you want more HRs and less speed.

I'd go Cruz as well. Dukes is a marginal player in an 8-teamer even when healthy.

Help?

Dukes shouldn't be owned in a 8 team league at this point. I agree with the others. Cut ties and grab Cruz.

One last question. Cruz is still clearing waivers; he was dropped by another team a couple days ago in favor of pitching. And my waiver rank is only 5/8, so if someone else grabs him first, who's your second pick off the list I provided?
