I'm trying to get G. Sizemore. I would get - Sizemore and Morneau I would give - Longoria, Quentin, and Huff Would it be enough? 12 teams, h2h, 6 batting categories with OPS
Agreed, it will depend on how the other owner values Longoria. Based on consensus draft day value probably not but it's closer than that and might be an attractive option for a manager with a hole to fill.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I wouldn't do it. I 'm an owner of Longoria, Sizemore, and Morneau in my keeper league. To get Sizemore and Morneau, someone would have to come with a much better offer for Sizemore and Morneau to get them. But I wouldn't laugh them out of the park. I'm just not high on Huff or particularly high on Quentin. Most people are very high on Quentin, making it a pretty fair deal, but I'm not one of them.
It's a fair deal to offer, but probably will not be accepted is my take. To me, it depends on how the person values Quentin. Longoria and Morneau are awash to me. Sizemore is the best player in the deal.
If I were him, I'd turn it down, but I'm not a Huff fan. Worth a shot though. If he thinks Quentin and Longoria are 2nd rounders, like a lot of people seem to, he might pull the trigger.
Yeah,,, it got rejected. How about Longoria and Quentin for Braun and Nathan. I personally don't like to trade for a closer but he has 4 elite closers (Rivera, Papelbone, Nathan, and Soria) so it would be easy to make trades with him.
