Heh, KC laughed when I bought him for a buck too. :-D

I can't remember exactly what I said about him, but there's definitely upside there. I just thought Joyce was undervalued and the Tigers got rogered in the deal.

Edwin Jackson has beaten the Jays before (many times), but I've never seen him this good. His control is actually on.

Yeah, I just got gun shy after seeing them put up 12 against Verlander.

I was looking forward to Jackson's first start and can't help but be overly impressed so far. Four huge things I've noticed and am not used to as a Tigers fan the last two years: first pitch strikes, lots of groundballs/popouts, superb control and a low pitch count. I can only hope it's a sign of things to come for him.

Purcey did better than I thought he would against a tough team of righties. I see good things for him this year.

He normally doesn't throw strikes like this, though. It's pretty crazy.

Even after I cut Lyon he still costs me a W. At least Jackson's ERA won't go up because of it.
