What should I do with extra roster spot? WHIR

I have an extra roster spot. I am allowed one more pitcher, or I can pick up any position player. H2H points based league.

C: McCann
1B: Votto
2B: Alexei Ramirez
3B: Chris Davis
SS: Aviles
OF: Beltran
OF: Bay
OF: Holliday
OF: Dunn
Util: Ibanez

Bench: Wieters, Ryan Zimmerman, Cantu and Daniel Murphy

Pitching: Lincecum, Gallardo, Lowe, Josh Johnson, Wang, Danks and Carpenter. DL: Escobar
Relief: Fuentes and Francisco

I want to get a pitcher to fill out my max availability and I also want a SS or 2B. Should I pick up a pitcher or a position player. Or should I drop Zimms and pick up a position guy and use the extra spot for a pitcher.

Available position players: Fontenot, Aaron Hill, Getz, Casilla, Yunel Escobar, Bonifacio.
Available pitchers: Pettitte, Pavano, Pelfrey, Wolf, Moyer, Wellemeyer.

Please help me out. WHIR

I like Aaron Hill, or Pelfrey if you want to increase pitching depth. It depends on your point system, really.

I would pick up Bonifacio then you can try to put Zim or Zim and Bon on the trade block to see if anyone is interested. If that doesn't work out then drop Zim for Pelfry.

does depend on your points system, and I like these two guys. Pelfrey a little more, but points do win out.
Keep Zimmerman. Your offense is extremely set, with enough quality depth to trade to someone's deficiancies.

I like Pelfrey the best, especially since you are looking for pitching. He is your best bet.

Fontenot is the best player available . . . but you could use the pitching with Pelfrey, I'd take Fontenot and trade one of your stud OF's for a stud SP.
