I would try and move Gonzalez for Phillips. I think last year was Fielder's floor for this season, and his ceiling could be as high as the '07 season. I like Gonzalez, but hate PETCO and the Padres lineup. By having Phillips man 2B, you get some serious flexibility out of DeRosa. Just my take. Help with mine if you don't mind/

I think Gonzo is worth that much, in order to get Phillips' 20/20 or even 30/30 if he can bring back 2 years ago's form. Fielder is a premium power threat 2 years removed from 50 hrs, though, so I wouldn't give him.

I would hang on to Fielder and Gonzo. Phillips is overrated.

I would definitely not trade Fielder for Phillips. Gonzalez and Phillips are fairly close value IMHO. But you look solid in the SB dept so I probably would not make this move.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
