roster: c - shoppach 1b - howard 2B - aviles ss - rollins 3b - reynolds ci - morneau mi - j.lopez of - mclouth, ellsbury, dye, miledge, burrell util - maybin bench - dukes sp's - webb, liriano, billingsley, burnett, nolasco rp's - broxton, capps, francisco, hanrahan, arredondo, corpas
Kearns is no iron man, so Dukes could still see 450 ABs, but Coco Crisp is on our waiver wire and could give owners a steady if unspectacular .280-10-65-75-28 line....will get consistent ABs and the SBs should be nice. Not sure I wan wait on the "what if" of a Dukes emergence if he's going to be a part-timer.
Other guys avail:
Andrus - steals will be nice, but could struggle...good keeper though Helton - obviously not a keeper, but mashing in ST Konerko - ditto Kotchman - is this the year he adds power to his avg? Lind - can't hit lefties very well, suspect power, nice AVG?
So, A) do I drop Dukes and B) if so, for whom? Leave a link, WHIR.
I have the same problm. I drafted Dukes in my 12 team keeper. I got the same answers. Lind had five rbi ,hr and 3-3 the last I know. Yeah I know its only one game. But I almost put in one of my two pickups pre allstar break for Lind last night.
WAY too much love for Dukes here. I think he's barely rosterable in a 10-team league to begin with, and there's no reason to have him on your team in the current situation where he's not playing.
He's overrated even before the benching....Manny Acta is a smart manager, there's a good reason Dukes isn't playing.
