OK...at this point i have 1 too many hitters and 1 too few pitchers on my roster. i can drop one of the following: huff, d.lee, c. davis for one of these pitchers: bedard, w.rodriguez, j.weaver, jimenez, pelfrey, smoltz. seems to me the move to make should be dropping huff for bedard. other thoughts? thanks!

I definitely like Huff the least of those three hitters. His HR, RBI, and AVG last year were the highest he's posted in the last 5 years, and he's got three pretty mediocre years in that same stretch. IMO he's too inconsistent (and 32 years old) and counting on him to match last year's numbers would be overly optimistic.
I'd drop him for either Bedard or Weaver, and probably Bedard. I think he'll come back somewhat this season and he's got a great pitchers park half the time, though I wouldn't count on him to eat as many innings as Weaver.
Opinion on mine?

i agree that trading Huff or Davis would be the best course (a 2 for 1 trade or a straight 1 for 1 trade in which you get a SP), but since the season starts tonight, I would probably drop Huff for Bedard.
Thanks for the help on mine.

I would try the trade route first. I bet someone would give you a decent SP for one of those guys. If not than I would go Huff for Bedard

I'm with Buzz, trade first if no go, drop Huff for Bedard of Wandy.
