Too much to pay?

5x5 11 team roto keeper league.

I have Carlos Pena ($5 for this year and next) and Ichiro ($25 for this year and 2 more). I can probably get Tex ($35 for this year and 2 more) for both of them but I'm not sure if that's too much to pay. I'm thinking Pena will be pretty close on HR/RBI while obviously lagging far behind on AVG and some on Runs. Ichiro more than makes up for that however and the other team needs speed.

Anybody have opinions on whether Pena/Ichiro is too much to pay for Tex?
