1/1 against Perkins so far. He looks pretty damn good against lefties this year already. Getting full playing time also.

This week and next should be VERY telling for Lind.
He has 4 lefties (of 7) this week and and 3 (of 6) lefties next week - Harrison, Poreda and Buerhle. Although nothing compared to the ones he's facing this week.
Good luck, feel free to PM me

WTF LaRussa? What in the hell does Ludwick have to do to just be your Right Fielder everyday? This guy hit .300 with 37 bombs and a solid .375 OBP. He has also hit the ball well this year. You have to be the only manager in baseball that wouldn't have that guy put in the right field spot with a permanent marker.

I acquired Ludwick cheap, but at this rate the guy barely has any value

I wonder how Ryan Ludwick feels about what is going on?

Colby Rasmus plays as much as he does. Duncan & Ankiel have more ABs, not including tonights full platter for those guys.

Oh yeah none of them are even close to Ludwicks # this year & have never come close his numbers last year.

LaRussa :-t :-t

Once Duncan starts going into one of his streaks where he is non-existent, I think the STL OF situation will be cleared up and Ludwick will emerge as the everyday guy. I kept Ludwick based on his season last year and too am highly frustrated by his lack of starts.

In my opinion, Ludwick earned the right to play everyday based on his performance last year and what he's done so far this year.

Rasmus, while certainlly a good prospect and all, hasn't earned that yet, and if anything, should be splitting time with Duncan or Ankiel.

La Russa claims that he will settle on a more permanent OF by May. Not sure what will change between now and then, but if it means Ludwick will be the everyday guy as a result - then fine. Ideally, the Cardinals need to trade one of their OFs.

When he's actually in the lineup, he's really proving that he's not going to fall flat on his face. Ludwick being apart of the rotation juggling is insane.
