the owner of Ian Kinsler is interested in my Matt Kemp. i currently have Kelly Johnson at 2B so Kinsler would be an upgrade. on my team i allready have a bunch of R/SB type players and have been looking to trade for HR/RBI type players so i dont want to really lose Kemp just for Kinsler. he also has Jason Bay. i could give Kemp, Derrek Lee, and Kelly Johnson to get Ian Kinsler and Jason Bay.
there is also another owner who has Brandon Phillips at 2B and Carlos Lee in the OF. he has Adam Dunn at CI who can be moved to the OF. i could offer him Kemp, Derrek Lee, and Kelly Johnson to get Brandon Phillips and Carlos Lee.
Ian Kinsler and Jason Bay VS Brandon Phillips and Carlos Lee. which is the better package? i think Phillips can get back to 2007 numbers. 20/20 i would say is a lock and he could go close to 30/30 again. Kinsler might only get into the low 20's for HR. Phillips and Carlos Lee are also both in RBI type spots in the lineup where Kinsler leads off for Texas.

You can't go wrong here, but deals are great for you. I'm going to give the nod to the Kinsler/Bay deal. two fine players in great linups and friendly parks. pull that trigger.
i agree with both the other comments already... you win in both these trades and id take which ever one you personally like better....there isnt all that much difference between the two, only that YOU make out better by doing either trade!!
thanks for the help on mine... and i would personally take Phillips and Lee over Ian and Bay... IMO Phillips/Lee will give you more HR, RBI and about the same SB and bout the same Runs, average may be won by Kinsler and Bay but i think Philips will hit for a better average then last year... but you get Power and Speed from Philips...
i sent out an offer earlier today to the owner of Lee and Phillips.. still waiting for a reply.
most of the responses i got were in favour of Kinsler/Bay. i appreciate the help, but im not sure i trust either of them enough. Bay will be batting 6th for Boston. the RBI will be there but i dont think he gets the same R. Kinsler is leading off for Texas. if he was batting 3rd i would have liked him more.
Lee and Phillips are both batting cleanup for their teams. both have decent hitters infront and behind. i allready have Berkman at 1B so Lee following him is nice. Lee was on great pace last season before a freak injury. Phillips might not be patient at the plate, but thats not a bad thing. id rather see him swinging and hitting HR than taking walks. Phillips could have more HR and SB than Kinsler.
i think both Phillips and Lee can get back to 2007 numbers, and i like that more than what Bay and Kinsler did in 2008. im looking more for HR/RBI than R at this point.. and i think i favour Lee and Phillips
Wow. I love both deals for you. I'm a big fan of all the players listed. Irecommend you go with Phillips and Carlos Lee. Love Lee....he's incredibly consistent. Phillips is going to be batting cleanup too and we all know what that park is like for hitters.
