1st trade is a no brainer. 2nd trade is meh. I like Lidge this year but Magglio may be a bit much.

i would take the 1st trade for sure. Soriano is money.
Jimenez is going to have an ERA into the 4's with a bad WHIP playing for Colorado. im not sold on Werth, i think hes overrated. hes good, just not as good as he was in 2008.

help?

Have to do the first deal...

Looks like you need a closer but Mags might be a little much...maybe you could get another player in the deal, someone who's average but fills a need for you.

First deal .. yes.

Pickup for Glaus .. I'd go Hafner (if you can get him after he clears waivers), then Spilborghs.

this guy doesn't have too much that would either help me or would make the deal too even... aside from maybe trying to get Lidge and Wilson for Maggs? and then i have to look at starting Nelson Cruz everyday in RF instead of Maggs (i love Cruz for this year but i believe to start off thats gonna be a huge drop off)... really tho unless i can get 2 solid saves guys there is really no sense in getting even just one closer cuz they won't carry enough saves to really help anyways...

bump... anymore thoughts? im thinking more so about the 2nd trade... i accepted the Soriano trade, but think im asking too much for 2 closers for Maggs? He has Lidge, Valverde, Broxton (who he said he won't trade), Brian Wilson and Chad Qualls...

I still don't think that is enough for Mags. And I love Lidge too. Closers just aren't worth that much to me, when compared with a hitter like Mags. Maybe you could offer up Loney for a decent closer and just pick up another one as the season progresses.

help me out man?
